"Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing
all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”—Matt. 4:23
Why was Jesus able to heal and raise the dead? Why were the apostles able to do
the same?
Should the disciple of Christ expect to be miraculously healed of their illnesses?
The FREE 29-page booklet Divine Healing
presents the Bible’s answer to these questions.
The Scriptures promise that God will forgive all of man’s iniquities and heal all
of man’s diseases in Christ’s kingdom. (Ps. 103:3) In that kingdom, “will the eyes
of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap
like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy.” (Isa. 35:5,6 NIV) “Wonder
not at this; because an hour comes in which all those in the tombs will hear his
voice, and will come forth …” (John 5:28,29 Emphatic
Diaglott) The healing by Jesus and the apostles pictured this
greater healing that will wipe away the
effects of the Adamic curse of sickness
and death from every human being.
“God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former
things are passed away.”—Rev. 21:4
